X-Ray (Radiography)

What is an x-ray?

X-Ray Results

Radiography, which is commonly known as X-Ray, is the practice of taking pictures of the inside of the body.  It is most commonly used to diagnose fractures and misalignment of bones as well as diseases of the internal organs. X-Rays are safe when properly used and remain the most commonly used medical imaging modality.

Once your scan is completed, our technologists will send the images to our Board Certified Radiologist who will review and interpret your scan. A written report of the results will be sent to your referring doctor within 48 hours. In most cases, your physician will have your results in 24 hours. A disc of digital images is also available upon request.
